Hospitality Director of Sales

PWW Hospitality is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Sales Operations to lead and optimize our sales functions across diverse channels for three hotels. This pivotal role drives revenue growth by developing innovative sales strategies, streamlining processes, and empowering our sales teams to excel. As a key leader, you will oversee the management of sales activities, foster strong customer relationships in the area, and leverage technology to maximize performance. The Hotel Sales Director will work closely with the hotel’s management team to drive business needs and expand existing business through promotional efforts and sales channels.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the hotel industry, a track record in sales leadership, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Duties

  • Oversee outside sales initiatives, ensuring effective territory management and customer engagement.
  • Negotiate room rates/packages with corporate clients.
  • Identify new markets and business opportunities to increase sales.
  • Lead negotiations with key clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that drive long-term partnerships.
  • Streamline sales processes by establishing best practices for account management, and customer service excellence.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of sales metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic solutions.
  • Support the integration of technology solutions to enhance sales efficiency and effectiveness across channels.
  • Assist front desk staff.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase the sales of the hotel’s rooms and services.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Manage customer complaints promptly and professionally.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Hotel Sales Director or similar role.
  • Strong management skills with experience leading diverse teams.
  • Excellent understanding of the hotel industry and its operations.
  • Expertise in business development, account management, and negotiation strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans that drive revenue growth.
  • Excellent analysis skills to interpret complex data sets for informed decision-making.
  • Leadership qualities that motivate teams, foster collaboration, and promote customer-centric solutions.
  • Background in marketing integration and technical sales is highly desirable.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
