Job Summary
We are seeking a professional, intelligent, mature, and responsible Maître D’ to lead our dining room experience. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring excellent guest relations. This role requires strong communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

The Maître D' is the face of the dining room, responsible for and oversee the dining room operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, efficient seating, and smooth communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly as they enter the restaurant, as they are the first interaction of their experience.
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and table assignments efficiently.
• Coordinate with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
• Maintain a welcoming and organized dining environment.
• Handle guest concerns or special requests professionally.
• Communicate important guest or service information to the Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Monitor dining room flow and adjust staffing or seating as needed.
• Oversee and ensure dining room is set up and presented to the highest standard.

Experience

• Prior restaurant or hospitality leadership experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Natural leadership presence with a calm, confident demeanor
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Professional appearance and polished hospitality mindset
• Ability to remain composed and solution-oriented in high-pressure situations
• Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required

Work Environment

This role requires frequent interaction with guests, time spent standing or walking, and occasional assistance with service during peak service hours. This job is fast-paced, guest-focused, requires evening, weekend, and holiday availability.

Pay: From $12.00 per hour
