We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host to be the first point of contact for our guests, taking care of to go orders, creating a positive and memorable experience from the moment they arrive. As a Host, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth guest flow, managing reservations, and providing exceptional customer service. Duties

• Greet guests warmly with genuine enthusiasm, making them feel valued and comfortable
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions about the menu or restaurant offerings
• Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely seating and optimal guest flow
• Answer phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette, providing information or taking reservations as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and waiting area
• Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously to ensure a positive experience

Skills

• Previous host/hostess experience in a fast-paced food service or restaurant environment
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for reservation management
• Knowledge of food service operations and hospitality standards
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
• Professional phone etiquette and guest relations skills
• Experience working in hotel or hospitality settings is a plus
• Ability to remain energetic, positive, and professional during busy periods
