Front of House Team Member

We are seeking a warm, polished, and hospitality-driven professional to join our front-of-house team. This individual will play an integral role in delivering a seamless and memorable dining experience for every guest.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maximize reservation availability and manage bookings efficiently using OpenTable
  • Skillfully manage the flow of reservations throughout service
  • Confidently oversee the dining room floor, including maintaining proper server rotations
  • Work collaboratively with the team while assisting guests with a calm, controlled sense of urgency
  • Clearly communicate guest needs and special requests to the kitchen and management team
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of all food and beverage menu items, ingredients, and specifications
  • Consistently execute service procedures and standards established by management
  • Uphold uniform and appearance standards at all times

About Vetri Cucina

Marc Vetri is the chef and founder of Philadelphia’s critically acclaimed Vetri Cucina. A Philadelphia native, Marc opened the restaurant in 1998 with his business partner, Jeff Benjamin.

Within two years of opening, Marc was named one of Food & Wine’s “Best New Chefs” and received the highest restaurant rating from The Philadelphia Inquirer. In 2005, he earned the prestigious James Beard Award for “Best Chef: Mid-Atlantic.”

Over the years, Marc and Jeff helped shape Philadelphia’s dining renaissance with the openings of Osteria, Amis, Pizzeria Vetri, Lo Spiedo, and Alla Spina. In 2015, Urban Outfitters Inc. partnered with several Vetri Family restaurants. After overseeing a successful transition, Marc recommitted himself to culinary innovation at Vetri Cucina.

The restaurant has continued to receive national acclaim, including maintaining its esteemed Four Bell rating from The Philadelphia Inquirer and earning a place on AAA’s exclusive Five Diamond list.

In February 2020, Marc opened Fiorella, an intimate pasta bar in Philadelphia’s Italian Market. Later that year, he opened Osteria Fiorella at Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa in Las Vegas — originally conceived as a pop-up, it became a permanent fixture due to its success.

Beyond the kitchen, Marc leads the Vetri Community Partnership, a nonprofit dedicated to nutrition education, and is the author of five award-winning cookbooks.
