Job Summary:
We are seeking an energetic and personable Host to create a welcoming and memorable experience for every guest. As the first point of contact, you will set the tone for a positive dining atmosphere by greeting guests, managing reservations, coordinating seating arrangements, and answering the phone. Your enthusiasm, excellent communication skills, and hospitality expertise will ensure guests feel valued and comfortable from the moment they arrive. The culture in our restaurant is centered on emotional regulation, prioritizes effective communication skills, encourages staff to take initiative to ensure the guest experience it top notch, and works diligently to break the norms of the service industry environment.

Hours:
Wednesdays 5pm - 10pm
Fridays 5pm - 10pm
Saturdays 5pm - 10pm

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly with genuine enthusiasm and professionalism as they arrive.
• Manage reservations efficiently using SevenRooms.
• Coordinate seating arrangements with floor lead to optimize guest flow and reduce wait times.
• Answer phone inquiries with courteous phone etiquette, providing accurate information and assistance.
• Assist with guest inquiries, special requests, and seating preferences to enhance their experience.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, ensuring a welcoming environment at all times.

Qualifications:

• Previous host/hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting preferred.
• Strong food service background with knowledge of restaurant operations.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
• Proven communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Hospitality or hotel experience is a plus, demonstrating guest relations expertise.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Knowledge of serving protocols, guest services, and phone etiquette is advantageous.

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 15.0 per week
