We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As the first point of contact, you will play a vital role in ensuring that every guest has an enjoyable dining experience. Your responsibilities will include managing reservations, greeting guests, and coordinating seating arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.
• Provide accurate wait times and communicate effectively with guests regarding their seating status.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy, enhancing guest relations.
• Utilize POS systems such as Toast for managing reservations and orders when necessary.
• Uphold high standards of hospitality and customer service at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous host/host or food service experience is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette.
• Experience in restaurant or hotel environments is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems (TOAST) is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
