Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and efficient seating arrangements. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to manage reservations and guest flow in a busy restaurant environment.

Duties

  • Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.
  • Provide accurate wait times and communicate effectively with guests.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
  • Assist with guest inquiries and provide information about menu items, specials, and services.
  • Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
  • Handle phone calls with professionalism, providing information or taking reservations as needed.
  • Uphold high standards of guest relations, ensuring every guest feels valued and attended to.

Requirements

  • Previous Host or food service experience is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast.
  • Experience in restaurant or hotel settings is desirable.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong phone etiquette and guest relations skills are essential.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team are crucial for success in this role.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $8.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
