Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team in providing exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and efficient seating arrangements. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage guest relations effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly as they arrive and provide them with menus.
• Manage the seating chart and ensure timely seating of guests.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to coordinate guest needs.
• Handle reservations and walk-in guests with professionalism and courtesy.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance their dining experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
• Utilize Aloha POS system for managing reservations and guest information.
• Assist in providing excellent customer service by helping guests with any requests or needs.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Familiarity with restaurant operations, including phone etiquette and handling reservations.
• A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment.
