Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join the Allure team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality and customer service, making it essential for creating memorable experiences.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using Aloha POS or similar systems.
• Maintain an organized waitlist and communicate wait times to guests effectively.
• Assist in managing the flow of guests in the restaurant to optimize seating capacity.
• Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to guests.
• Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless guest service.
• Address guest concerns or complaints promptly, ensuring satisfaction and positive guest relations.
• Uphold cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or other point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in managing reservations and seating.
• A passion for hospitality and providing outstanding guest services.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Opentable experience and Toast POS is a plus!

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
