Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a smooth dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Duties

• Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude.
• Manage the seating chart to ensure efficient seating and minimize wait times.
• Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations as needed.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints with tact and professionalism, ensuring positive guest relations.
• Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for managing reservations and orders.
• Provide support during busy periods, including assisting servers when necessary.

Experience

• Previous Host/Host or food service experience is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest relations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
• Familiarity with restaurant operations, including serving and guest services.
• Experience in hotel settings is a plus but not required.
