Holbrook House sits at the heart of the SF Financial District, inside The Conservatory at One Sansome, and we've quickly become one of the city's most talked-about dining destinations. We're known for one of the city's most impressive bars, free-flowing martinis and champagne, and a menu of elevated contemporary American cuisine — all set within a stunning 6,000 sq ft indoor-outdoor atrium that turns every visit into an occasion.

The Role

You are the first face our guests see and the last impression they carry out the door. As Host at Holbrook House, you set the tone for an experience that goes far beyond a meal — you're the keeper of the room's energy, the orchestrator of first impressions, and a true ambassador of San Francisco hospitality at its finest.

What You'll Do

• Welcome guests with warmth, poise, and genuine enthusiasm from the moment they arrive
• Manage reservations and the floor with efficiency and grace, balancing walk-ins and bookings across our dining room and patio
• Communicate seamlessly with the front- and back-of-house teams to ensure smooth seating and an effortless guest flow
• Assist with private events and buyouts, helping deliver polished, memorable experiences for groups of all sizes
• Represent the Holbrook House standard in every interaction — attentive, professional, and always with a smile

Who You Are

• You have prior hosting or front-of-house experience in an upscale or high-volume restaurant
• You're calm under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment
• You have excellent communication skills and a natural ability to make people feel welcome
• You're organized, proactive, and a team player who takes pride in the details
• A genuine love of food, cocktails, and hospitality culture is a must
