We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host to be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and memorable experience from the moment they arrive. As a Host, you will be responsible for greeting guests with enthusiasm, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth seating operations. Duties

• Warmly greet guests upon arrival with a lively and professional attitude, making them feel valued and comfortable
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to optimize seating flow
• Coordinate with the service team to assign tables promptly, ensuring minimal wait times and smooth transitions
• Answer guest inquiries via phone with courteous phone etiquette, providing accurate information about wait times or reservation details
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station, menus, and waiting area to uphold high standards of food safety and hospitality
• Assist in managing guest flow during busy periods by communicating effectively with team members and guests
• Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally, turning any issues into positive experiences

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Host or in a hostess/guest services role in food service or restaurant environments preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to guest interactions
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with guests confidently
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Knowledge of food safety standards and restaurant operations is a plus
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining organizational skills
• Experience in hotel or hospitality settings is beneficial but not required
• Professional phone etiquette and strong interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role
