Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Host to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for greeting guests with enthusiasm, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth flow of seating and guest experience. Your positive attitude and excellent communication skills will set the tone for an outstanding dining experience, fostering guest satisfaction and loyalty. Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival, creating a friendly first impression
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest comfort
• Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information and assistance
• Assist with guest inquiries, special requests, and seating preferences to enhance their experience
• Support the restaurant team by communicating effectively with servers and kitchen staff
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area to uphold hygiene standards

Requirements

• Previous host/hostess experience in a food service or restaurant setting preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Experience in hotel or guest services is advantageous
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving etiquette, and phone etiquette
• Demonstrated hospitality skills with a focus on guest relations and guest satisfaction
