Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host to be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and memorable experience from the moment they arrive. As a Host, you will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth seating and flow within the restaurant or hospitality environment. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will set the tone for a warm, friendly atmosphere that keeps guests coming back.

We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible. Previous hosting experience preferred, but not required. Weekends, evenings, and holidays are a must. This is a seasonal position. 4-5 shifts/week. Minimum wage + tips.

Duties

• Warmly greet guests upon arrival, making them feel valued and comfortable
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using Toast Tables
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest experience
• Answer phone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, providing accurate information about wait times or reservations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area to ensure a welcoming environment
• Bus tables
• Water guests after being sat, and re-water guests throughout service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Host or in a customer service role within food service or hospitality preferred
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on friendly phone etiquette and guest relations
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
• Excellent interpersonal skills to foster guest satisfaction and team collaboration

Pay: From $16.37 per hour
