We are seeking an energetic and personable Host to create a welcoming and memorable experience for our guests. As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for greeting visitors, managing wait times, and ensuring smooth seating arrangements. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will set the tone for a positive dining experience, fostering guest satisfaction and loyalty. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly with a friendly and professional demeanor upon arrival
• Manage reservation lists and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest comfort
• Answer phone inquiries with courteous phone etiquette, providing accurate wait times and reservation information
• Assist guests with special requests or accommodations to enhance their experience
• Collaborate closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service flow
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and waiting area

Qualifications

• Previous host or hostess experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Experience in food service, serving, or hotel guest services is advantageous
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment
• Professional appearance and friendly demeanor with good phone etiquette
