Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, making them feel welcome and valued from the moment they step in
• Manage to go orders efficiently using POS systems such as Toast and also ensuring accurate seating assignments
• Coordinate with the dining staff to optimize table turnover and minimize wait times
• Maintain a clean and organized host stand, ensuring all materials are stocked and ready for service
• Answer guest inquiries via phone with professional phone etiquette, providing information about wait times or menu details
• Assist in managing guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously
• Support the restaurant team during busy hours by facilitating smooth communication between hosts, servers, and kitchen staff

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Host or in a similar customer service role within food service or hospitality environments
• Strong communication skills with an energetic, friendly demeanor
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred; hotel experience is a plus
• Experience in restaurant settings with an understanding of guest services and serving procedures
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure
• Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills to ensure every visitor feels appreciated
• Basic familiarity with hospitality standards, including guest services and restaurant operations
• Reliable attendance and punctuality to support team success
