Duties

• Greet guests warmly with a friendly and professional demeanor, creating a positive first impression
• Manage guest reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using Resy.
• Answer phone inquiries with courteous phone etiquette, providing accurate information and assistance
• Coordinate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth seating flow and timely service
• Maintain a clean, organized host stand and waiting area to enhance guest comfort
• Assist with guest inquiries, special requests, and seating preferences to promote guest satisfaction
• Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring an enjoyable experience

Requirements

• Previous host/hostess experience or food service background preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with guests and team members
• Excellent customer service skills, including patience, friendliness, and professionalism
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of hospitality standards and guest services practices preferred
