Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional host/server to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills, a polished appearance, and the ability to manage guest interactions with warmth and efficiency. Previous experience in cashier/host roles, food service, or hospitality is required. The position offers an engaging environment where guest relations and service excellence are paramount.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival
• Answer phone calls, take reservations, and manage inquiries about the menu and restaurant.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization
• Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth service
• Assist with guest requests and resolve concerns promptly to enhance guest satisfaction
• Support in managing guest relations by providing attentive and personalized service
• Uphold hospitality standards by demonstrating excellent communication skills and guest engagement
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and provide accurate change to guests.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as needed.
• Maintain a positive attitude and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Requirements
• Previous host/host experience or background in food service or hospitality required
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations
• Experience with restaurant POS systems such as Clover or Square is a plus
• Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and friendly demeanor
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
