Job Description:

Looking for someone 2-3+ evenings a week. Start time is 4pm.

As a greeter & host at Fireside Tavern, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive outstanding service throughout their dining experience. The Fireside Tavern Sherborn Host is the first point of contact for guests, responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. This role involves managing reservations, greeting guests, and ensuring that all guests have an enjoyable dining experience. This role requires a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
• Operate Toast Tables to manage seating and reservations
• Take to go food and beverage orders via phone and walk -in
• Process payments for to go food accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions with care.
• Monitor the dining area to ensure bussers know when to flip tables and ensure cleanliness and ambiance, and assist servers when needed with pre-watering tables.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, organized, greeter desk.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for processing payments and making change.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
