Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly and energetic demeanor, making them feel immediately welcomed and comfortable
• Grabbing the door for every guest coming in
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using Open Table
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize flow and minimize wait times while maintaining guest satisfaction
• Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information and assisting with inquiries about the establishment
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting areas to uphold a polished appearance
• Communicate effectively with team members, servers, and management to ensure smooth service operations
• Assist in guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish

Requirements

• Previous experience as a host or hostess in food service or restaurant settings is highly preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest interaction techniques
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Experience working in hospitality environments such as hotels or restaurants is a plus
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a positive attitude
• Knowledge of guest services, serving procedures, and hospitality standards is desirable
