We are looking for a host in the Yuba City area to join us. Candidates must be hospitable, demonstrate people skills, have good organization skills, and be able to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment. Being familiar with Japanese food is favorable.

Qualification

• Minimum high school diploma or higher.
• Have a proper transportation to come to work on a timely manner.
• Prior experience working in restaurant settings is favorable.
• To have knowledge about or be familiar with Japanese food.
• Able to work independently and as a team member as well.
• Able to stand for extended periods, perform physical activities needed to have good cleaning skills, and lift up to 20 lbs.
• Needs good communication skills to understand customers' phone orders and respond appropriately and to work well with other staff.
• Have a sense of urgency and responsibility.
• Able to read and understand written information relevant to the job.
• Must be dependable and reliable in reporting to work as scheduled and to comply with the attendance policy.
• Food Handler card required.

Job Description

• Bussing tables and keeping clean surrounding work stations.
• Being able to professionally respond phones, take phone orders and online orders, and to properly bag orders.
• Working with other staff in professional manners to ensure customers' satisfaction.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour
