Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor, establishing a positive first impression
• Manage reservation bookings efficiently using 7Rooms
• Escort guests to their tables promptly, providing menus and answering initial questions about the restaurant’s offerings
• Maintain detailed notes on Guests preferences
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to optimize seating flow and minimize wait times, ensuring a seamless dining experience
• Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and feedback with professionalism and attentiveness
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness of the host stand area and waiting lounge to uphold high standards of hygiene and presentation
• Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously, turning any issues into positive interactions
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery during peak hours and special events

Skills

• Proven experience as a Host/Host or in a similar customer service role within food service or restaurant settings
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and clearly convey information
• Previous restaurant experience preferred, including familiarity with hospitality standards and guest services
• Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations, inquiries, and waitlist updates professionally
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Experience working in hotel or hospitality environments is a plus, demonstrating adaptability across guest services roles
• Demonstrated ability to foster positive guest relations through friendly interaction and proactive service
• Basic understanding of serving protocols, guest needs, and hospitality best practices
