Position Summary

The Dominion Club is seeking a friendly, professional, and hospitality-focused Host to serve as the first point of contact for members and guests visiting the club's dining venues. This role is responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations and seating arrangements, and helping ensure a positive and seamless dining experience.

The ideal candidate is outgoing, organized, and enjoys creating a warm and welcoming environment for members and guests.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Greet members and guests in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner.
  • Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating assignments to maximize guest flow and dining room efficiency.
  • Escort guests to their tables and provide menus as needed.
  • Answer phone calls and assist with dining reservations and member inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate reservation records and communicate special requests to service staff.
  • Assist in coordinating dining room seating to ensure excellent service and guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor dining room activity and communicate with managers and servers regarding table availability.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional host stand area.
  • Assist with member events, special functions, and club activities as needed.
  • Uphold club standards for hospitality, professionalism, and member service.
  • Support other food and beverage operations as needed to ensure a positive member experience.

Qualifications

  • Previous customer service, hospitality, restaurant, or country club experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable interacting with members and guests of all ages.
  • Basic computer and phone skills.
  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed.

Pay: $13.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
