1909 Gastropub in Old Town Temecula is seeking Hosts who are passionate and excited about providing an exceptional guest experience!

HOST RESPONSIBILITIES

• 
  Treat all guests in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction. Always strives to exceed guests' expectations
• 
  Greets and Interacts with every guest as they arrive and as they leave the restaurant to ensure positive dining experience
• 
  Answers phone and answers questions concerning the menu and restaurant
• 
  Fills to-go orders, if applicable
• 
  Take names on waiting list - Takes guest information and quotes wait times to guests accurately when tables are not immediately available.
• 
  Run the floor plan board
• 
  Engage in a conversation with guests while walking them to their table
• 
  Bring water bowls, 4paws menus to guests with animals
• 
  Observes tables and keeps track of clean, dirty and occupied tables
• 
  Cleans, organizes, stocks and counts menus at host area
• 
  Maintains restrooms throughout shift
• 
  Helps to sweep and clean all areas of the restaurant as needed
• Helps clear, clean and bus tables as needed
• 
  Engage and motivate team members to work together to accomplish tasks
• 
  Perform additional tasks to support overall success of restaurant

HOST REQUIREMENTS

• MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE TO APPLY
• Must be able to obtain Riverside Food Handlers Card
• Must be able to obtain Responsible Beverage Service Certificate
• Must have outgoing and friendly personality
• Always keeping a positive and upbeat attitude
• Must love to SMILE!!
• Host or Customer Facing Experience Preferred, not required
• Works well as part of a team and on individual tasks
• Must speak fluent English; Excellent verbal communication
• Works well and efficiently under pressure
• Flexibility and willing to work shifts including nights, weekends, holidays and split shifts
• Reliability and Punctuality is a must
• Takes pride in professional appearance

Activities include, but are not limited to, walking, or standing for 6 to 8 hours at a time, reaching, stooping, lifting or carrying 25 or more pounds, carrying, talking, sitting, able to wipe down bar, tabletops, chairs, and booths; able to pick up debris from floor; able to push vacuum or mop.
