Job Description:
We are looking for a cheerful and dedicated Breakfast Attendant to join our team at the Holiday Inn in Houston. This role involves ensuring our guests start their day with a delightful breakfast experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Set up the breakfast area according to hotel standards before guests arrive.
Prepare and replenish a variety of food items including hot and cold dishes.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the breakfast area throughout service.
Ensure all food is served at safe temperatures and in compliance with health regulations.
Monitor inventory and restock items as necessary.
Greet guests, provide excellent customer service, and address any guest inquiries or concerns.
Clean and sanitize all equipment, surfaces, and dining areas post-service.
Follow all hotel policies and procedures, especially those related to health, safety, and hygiene.

Requirements:

Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory; we will train the right person.
Must have a friendly and outgoing personality with a strong focus on customer service.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Must be able to handle physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, lifting up to 30 pounds, and bending or stooping.
Flexibility to work weekends with potential for early morning shifts.
Good communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
Must comply with local health regulations, including any necessary food handler certifications.
