Duties

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements to optimize flow and guest satisfaction
  • Take accurate drink and food orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
  • Prepare and serve beverages in accordance with safety standards and responsible alcohol service policies
  • Assist with food handling, ensuring proper food safety practices are followed during service
  • Manage cash handling and cashiering duties efficiently during shifts
  • Support bar operations during busy nights, including replenishing supplies and maintaining cleanliness
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring their needs are met promptly
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with health regulations and food safety standards
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during events such as banquets or nightclub nights
  • Demonstrate strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations effectively

Skills

  • Proven experience in food service, hospitality, or retail math to handle transactions accurately
  • Familiarity with POS Toast
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
  • Ability to manage time efficiently in fast-paced environments such as nightclubs or fine dining settings
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and inventory management
  • Knowledge of the food industry trends including brewing or beverage arts is advantageous
  • Effective communication skills to coordinate seamlessly with kitchen staff and fellow team members
