Host Busser

Duluth Grill is looking for a high-energy, detail-oriented Host/Busser to join our front-of-house team. We are a bustling, popular brunch spot known for our incredible food, energetic atmosphere, and, most importantly, our hospitality-first service. We don't just clear tables; we create opportunities for guests to have an amazing experience. We are looking for someone who hustles with a smile and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do:

• First Impression: Welcome guests with warmth, manage the waitlist, and seat guests with a friendly demeanor.
• Table Turnover: Rapidly clear and sanitize tables, chairs, and booths, setting them perfectly for the next party.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with fellow host bussers to coordinate seating for guests in a timely fashion.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the entrance, floor, and side stations spotless throughout the shift.
• Communication: Have the ability to walk guests through our waitlist system and help out with any issues or problems that occur with poise and respect.

What you need:

• Hospitality Mindset: You genuinely enjoy making people happy and are polite and welcoming.
• Speed & Stamina: Ability to hustle, stay on your feet for 8+ hours, and lift up to 20lbs during busy, high-volume shifts.
• Positive Attitude: A welcoming, friendly demeanor, even when things get hectic.
• Reliability: Weekend availability is a must (Friday-Sunday, 8 am – 3 pm).
• Experience: Previous restaurant experience is a plus, but not required—we are happy to train someone with the right attitude.
