Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Host to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As the first point of contact, you will set the tone for an exceptional dining experience by providing friendly, efficient service and ensuring guests feel valued from the moment they arrive. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will help foster guest loyalty and contribute to a lively, positive environment that keeps our operations running smoothly.

Duties

• Greet guests with a genuine smile and friendly demeanor, making them feel instantly welcomed
• Greet guests at their tables, providing water and bread and answering initial questions about the menu or specials
• Maintain clear communication with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely seating and service flow
• Understand the layout of the dining areas and communicate customer needs to their assign
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly, demonstrating excellent guest relations and restaurant etiquette
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the wait stations
• Support team members during busy periods by coordinating seating arrangements and managing guest flow

Requirements

• Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional appearance
• Excellent communication skills, including fine dining etiquette and guest interaction
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of serving protocols, guest services, and restaurant operations is beneficial
• Must be able to stand, walk, and move comfortably for extended periods throughout shifts
