We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host / Cashier to join our dynamic team! As a key member of our hospitality team, you will manage guest seating, handle transactions accurately using POS systems, and assist with guest inquiries. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival with enthusiasm and professionalism
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to minimize wait times
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process payments accurately
• Handle cash, credit card, and other transactions with precision and integrity
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest questions and concerns promptly
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and cashier area
• Support guest relations by ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and assisting with special requests or accommodations
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service flow
• Uphold restaurant policies, including phone etiquette and guest interaction standards

Experience

• Prior experience as a host or hostess in a food service or restaurant setting is highly preferred
• Experience handling cash register operations using POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is advantageous
• Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills
• Familiarity with restaurant operations, guest services, and hospitality standards
• Previous hotel or guest relations experience is a plus
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food service etiquette, serving practices, and phone etiquette
