Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and attentive guest relations to set a positive tone for their visit
• Manage guest seating by coordinating reservations and walk-in arrivals, ensuring efficient table assignments
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to accurately process orders and payments
• Handle cash, credit card, and other payment methods with precision and professionalism
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and cashier area to uphold high standards of hygiene and presentation
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and management to ensure seamless service flow
• Answer guest inquiries over the phone with courteous phone etiquette, providing information about menu items or wait times

Experience

• Prior experience as a host or host in a food service or restaurant setting is highly preferred
• Experience handling POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills
• Previous roles involving guest services, serving, or hospitality contribute to success in this position
• Familiarity with hotel or guest relations experience is a plus but not required
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
