Host Cashier – Beach Café at Harrah’s Laughlin Beach Resort
If you’re the kind of person who can greet guests with a Family Style Service smile, juggle transactions with ease, and keep the dining flow smooth as a desert breeze, this role might be your perfect fit. As a Host Cashier at the Beach Café, you’ll be the welcoming face that sets the tone for each guest’s dining experience while ensuring accurate and efficient cash handling.
HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY
- Welcome guests warmly and seat them using a rotation system to maximize service
- Answer phones with professional etiquette and assist with reservations
- Communicate clearly with guests, coworkers, and supervisors
- Clear and reset tables quickly during peak hours—aiming for under two minutes
Cash Handling & POS
- Accurately process payments and return correct change or receipts
- Maintain your assigned cash bank and complete end‑of‑shift reports
- Learn and operate the POS system used by the outlet
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- 1 year of cash‑handling experience preferred
- Valid Health Card
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Comfort with basic math and using a cash register
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Physical Demands
- Lift up to 30 lbs and push/pull up to 150 lbs
- Stand and walk for the entire shift, including stairs
- Work in hot, cold, smoky, or dusty environments
