Host/ Hostess

Culaccino Nashville is seeking warm, energetic, and hospitality-driven Hosts to join our Front of House team. Our concept blends classic Italian traditions with a modern approach—featuring house-made pastas, wood-fired pizzas, and a thoughtfully curated beverage program highlighting both iconic and independent producers from Italy and around the world.

As a Host, you are the first and last impression of our restaurant. You set the tone for each guest’s experience with genuine hospitality, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Position Summary

The Host is responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, managing guest flow, and ensuring a seamless dining experience from arrival to departure. This role requires strong communication skills, poise under pressure, and a natural ability to connect with guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet all guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact
• Manage reservations and waitlists using the restaurant system
• Accurately quote wait times and maintain efficient guest flow
• Escort guests to tables and present menus
• Answer phones, assist with inquiries, and take To-Go orders
• Coordinate seating between dining room and bar areas based on guest preferences
• Support team members and communicate guest needs clearly to service staff and managers
• Handle To-Go transactions, including processing payments
• Maintain awareness of the dining room to anticipate guest needs
• Uphold all sanitation, safety, and alcohol compliance standards

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stay organized and composed in a fast-paced environment
• Friendly, outgoing, and team-oriented mindset
• Comfortable using reservation and POS systems
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs as needed
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Schedule & Availability
