We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic tecrucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your responsibilities will include managing reservations, greeting guests, and coordinating seating arrangements while providing outstanding customer service.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover.
- Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions.
- Assist with guest inquiries and provide information about the menu and restaurant services.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations or answering questions as needed.
- Uphold high standards of guest relations, addressing any concerns promptly and courteously.
Requirements
- Previous host/host experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments is beneficial.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A background in hotel guest services or hospitality is an advantage.
