Host Receptionist Job Description:

We are looking for a qualified host person for both The Belfry Bistro and The Seal restaurants, wo will welcome and greet our guests, direct them to a table, and handle our various administrative support tasks. e.g. gift certificates, marketing material,

A good job candidate must be professional and friendly, especially when dealing with guests. Excellent service is a must for great customer experiences.

Welcome guests to the venue

• Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists
• Manage reservations
• Escort customers to assigned dining or bar areas
• Provide menus and announce Waiter/Waitress’s name
• Greet customers upon their departure
• Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options
• Maintain a clean reception area
• Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g. children, elderly
• Receptionist Job Requirements:
• • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• • Experience as a receptionist/ host is a plus
• • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• • Great telephone communication skills
• • Great organizational skills
• • Good computer skills, including competency in Microsoft Office programs
• • Good time-management skills
• • Customer-centric approach
• • Professional and friendly disposition
• • Ability to work in a team

The Seal offers a coastal tapas menu including raw bar, vegan bowls, salads, sushi and more. We are in midst of upgrading the kitchen to allow an enhanced options and hence need qualified staff to operate efficiently.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 / hour
