Host / Reservationist

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
• Manage reservation bookings efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Answer incoming phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, handling inquiries and reservations promptly
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize guest flow and reduce wait times
• Assist guests with special requests, seating preferences, and guest relations to enhance their experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless communication and guest satisfaction

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a host/hostess or reservationist in a food service or restaurant setting preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a genuine passion for hospitality and guest relations
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with professional phone etiquette
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Experience in hotel or hospitality environments is advantageous
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Previous food service or serving experience is beneficial but not required
