Host / Server Assistant (Support Staff) – Fine Dining Restaurant

We are looking for a Host / Server Assistant to join our team and help create a smooth, polished dining experience for our guests. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hospitality, works well in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in attention to detail.

As the first and last impression of the restaurant, you will play an important role in both guest experience and dining room flow, while supporting the service team.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and manage reservations and wait lists
• Escort guests to tables and present menus
• Assist servers with water service, table maintenance, and resetting tables
• Run food when needed and support overall dining room service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining room
• Help coordinate seating to maintain smooth kitchen and service flow
• Communicate clearly with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff

Qualifications

• Friendly, professional demeanor and strong communication skills
• Ability to stay organized and calm in a busy service environment
• Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Team-oriented mindset and willingness to help where needed
• Prior restaurant experience is a plus but not required
