The Role.
As a Hostess, you set the tone for the entire guest experience. You will manage the flow of the cafe, welcome guests with a warm and professional demeanor, and ensure that every person who walks through our doors feels valued and attended to from the moment they arrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Warm Welcome: Greet guests immediately upon entry with a professional and friendly attitude.
- Seating Management: Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus.
- Flow Control: Monitor the dining area to manage waitlists and ensure tables are turned over efficiently.
- Inquiry Handling: Answer phone calls, manage reservations (if applicable), and provide information about our menu and cafe hours.
- Entryway Maintenance: Ensure the front entrance and host station are clean, organized, and represent the "The One Cafe" aesthetic at all times.
- Communication: Work closely with the Waitstaff and Cashier to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Farewell: Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return, ensuring their final impression is as good as their first.
