Position Overview

RIKAS Hospitality Group is seeking an elegant, poised, and service-driven Hostess to join our luxury dining destination. As the first and last point of contact for our guests, the Hostess plays a key role in curating a refined and memorable guest journey, delivering an exceptional standard of hospitality that reflects the sophistication and excellence of the brand.

The ideal candidate possesses a polished presence, outstanding interpersonal skills, and a genuine passion for luxury hospitality and personalized guest experiences within a fast-paced, high-profile restaurant environment.


Key Responsibilities

Guest Relations & Arrival Experience

  • Deliver a gracious and personalized welcome to all guests, ensuring an exceptional first impression.
  • Escort guests to their tables with professionalism, elegance, and attention to detail.
  • Anticipate guest needs and preferences to provide a seamless and elevated arrival experience.
  • Maintain a warm, confident, and engaging presence throughout service.
  • Ensure all departing guests are acknowledged and thanked sincerely.

Reservations & Table Management

  • Manage reservations, VIP bookings, waiting lists, and walk-ins with efficiency and discretion.
  • Coordinate seating arrangements strategically to optimize service flow and guest satisfaction.
  • Liaise closely with management and floor teams regarding table status, guest preferences, and special occasions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date reservation records using the restaurant booking system.
  • Handle guest requests and last-minute changes with professionalism and composure.

Luxury Guest Experience

  • Build rapport with returning and VIP guests, recognizing preferences and creating personalized experiences.
  • Provide knowledgeable guidance regarding the restaurant concept, menus, events, and dining experience.
  • Handle guest concerns gracefully and escalate matters appropriately when required.
  • Uphold the highest standards of etiquette, grooming, and hospitality excellence at all times.

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure the reception area and hostess station remain immaculate, organized, and guest-ready throughout service.
  • Maintain presentation standards for menus, collateral, and guest-facing materials.
  • Support opening and closing procedures in line with operational standards.
  • Work collaboratively with service and management teams to ensure fluid restaurant operations during peak periods.

Team Collaboration & Communication

  • Foster strong communication with management, reservations, and service teams to ensure seamless coordination.
  • Communicate guest flow, seating updates, and VIP arrivals effectively and promptly.
  • Support colleagues proactively to maintain exceptional service standards across all touchpoints.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a luxury restaurant, fine dining, or upscale hospitality environment.
  • Exceptional communication and guest engagement skills.
  • Impeccable grooming and professional presentation.
  • Strong ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure.
  • Experience handling VIP guests and high-volume service environments preferred.
  • Familiarity with reservation platforms such as SevenRooms, OpenTable, or similar systems is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are highly valued.
  • Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Passion for luxury hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences.
