Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival with a lively and positive attitude, making them feel valued and appreciated
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to minimize wait times and optimize table turnover
• Handle guest inquiries with clear communication, providing information about menu options, specials, and restaurant policies
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process payments accurately and swiftly
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and cashier station to uphold high standards of hygiene and professionalism
• Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring guest satisfaction is prioritized
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods, supporting overall restaurant operations

Skills

• Proven experience as a Host or Hostess in food service or restaurant settings, with a strong focus on customer engagement
• Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and the ability to interact confidently with diverse guests
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
• Prior experience in hospitality or hotel guest services is a plus, demonstrating adaptability across various guest-facing roles
• Strong organizational skills to manage reservations, seating charts, and cashier duties seamlessly
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure
• Knowledge of serving protocols, guest relations best practices, and hospitality standards to enhance overall guest experience
