You’ll also support the front-of-house team by ensuring tables are promptly cleared and reset, maintaining a smooth flow of service that keeps our guests delighted from start to finish. Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and efficient seating assistance
• Manage guest waitlists and reservations with clear communication and positive attitude
• Escort guests to their tables, offering menus and answering initial questions about the menu or specials
• Clear and reset tables swiftly after guests depart, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for new guests
• Support servers by delivering food and beverages when needed, maintaining excellent guest relations
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including wiping down tables and organizing service stations
• Uphold phone etiquette when handling reservations or guest inquiries via phone or online platforms

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a host/host or in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a welcoming demeanor are key
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
• Ability to stand, walk, and move quickly for extended periods throughout shifts
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, guest services, and hospitality standards enhances your fit for this role
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences
• Professional phone etiquette and guest relations skills are highly valued
