Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Host/Cashier. As a Host/Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience.
Duties:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome
- Seat guests and provide menus
- Take reservations and manage the waitlist
- Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries
- Handle cash transactions using the POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/cashier station
- Assist with guest relations
- Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- TABC Certificate
- Food Handler Certificate
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred
- Familiarity with a point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Strong customer service skills and ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
