Job Summary: We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Host/Cashier. As a Host/Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent guest service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our customers. Your role will involve greeting and seating guests, handling cash transactions, and assisting with various front-of-house duties. Responsibilities: - Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor upon arrival - Seat guests and provide them with menus - Take reservations and manage the waitlist - Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries - Process cash transactions accurately using the Aloha POS system - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/cashier station - Assist servers with bussing tables and refilling drinks when needed - Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient service - Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner - Uphold high standards of hospitality and guest relations Skills: - Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills - Strong guest relations skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service - Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or food service environment is preferred - Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently - Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues Join our team as a Host/Cashier and enjoy the benefits of working in a dynamic hospitality environment.
