Hostess/Host

Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and professional Hostess/Host to join our team. As a Hostess/Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing them with a warm welcome and ensuring their dining experience starts off on a positive note. Responsibilities:

• Treat all guests in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction. Be nice, smile. Always strive to exceed guests' expectations.
• Take names on a waiting list.
• Run the floor plan board.
• Observe tables and keep track of clean, dirty and occupied tables.
• Take guest information and quotes wait times, utilizing Tables Ready tablet, to guests accurately when tables are not immediately available.
• Clean, organize and stock menus at host area.
• Answer phone and answer questions concerning the menu and restaurant.
• Interact with guests as they arrive and as they leave the restaurant to ensure positive dining experience.
• Provide room service to guests at Church Landing.
• Fill to-go orders, via phone calls and Door Dash tablet.
• Sweep foyer and front entrance area frequently.
• Perform other duties as directed by Manager on duty.

Experience:
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant industry preferred
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong guest relations and customer service abilities
- Knowledge of hospitality industry practices and standards
- Familiarity with POS systems, preferably Aloha POS
