We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Expo to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and maintaining the flow of service in our restaurant.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely service.
- Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and courtesy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
- Assist with phone etiquette by answering calls promptly and taking reservations as needed.
- Support food service operations by assisting servers during busy periods.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.
- Experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not required.
- Proficient in phone etiquette to handle reservations and inquiries effectively.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus for managing orders efficiently.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
