Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Expo to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and maintaining the flow of service in our restaurant.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely service.
• Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and courtesy.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
• Assist with phone etiquette by answering calls promptly and taking reservations as needed.
• Support food service operations by assisting servers during busy periods.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.
• Experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not required.
• Proficient in phone etiquette to handle reservations and inquiries effectively.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus for managing orders efficiently.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role.

We are doing open Interviews Wednesday and Thursday from 1pm to 5pm

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
