Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage waitlists, and escort them to their tables efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized host stand, ensuring a welcoming first impression
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate timely food delivery
• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to tables promptly, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met
• Assist with clearing tables, resetting for new guests, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area
• Support guest relations by addressing questions or concerns courteously and professionally
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing when needed

Skills

• Previous host/hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant setting preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Excellent communication skills to interact clearly with guests and team members
• Knowledge of food service operations and restaurant procedures
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Ability to handle phone etiquette professionally when managing reservations or inquiries
• Hospitality background or hotel experience is advantageous for guest relations roles
• Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a lively environment

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
