THE LOBSTER HOST JOB POSTING

Job Summary
Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all of our guests, by welcoming and warmly greeting guests upon arrival. Manage the efficient and timely seating of our guests while maximizing the restaurant’s capacity and creating a profitable flow between service floor and kitchen.

Job Requirements

Must be familiar with reservation system, Resy preferred

Greet guests in a professional, yet friendly manner

Answer telephone calls and respond to inquiries, take messages

Assist guests in creating, modifying, cancelling or checking in for reservations

Seat guests at determined table, presenting menus upon seating

Maintain cleanliness and organization of front lobby area

Help maintain cleanliness and keep restrooms/cabinets stocked

Communicate with guests regarding wait times, The Lobster policies and answer any inquiries

Ability to stand on your feet for a minimum of 6 hours

Ability to walk up and down stairs

Ability to carry a minimum of 5 pounds

United States Citizenship or Proper Working Credentials

Preferred Job Requirements

Ability to work 5-6 shifts per week, with open availability

Flexibility to pick up shifts or cover for co-workers
