Host/Hostess

Responsibilities include:

  • Greeting and seating customers upon arrival, and taking phone reservations.
  • Responsible for takeout orders.
  • Great and happy personality is a must! Along with being able to coordinate with staff to ensure optimal customer service.
  • Consistently displays maturity and professionalism to all guest requests, and confidently explains food, pairing, and recipes as needed.
  • Develop friendly relationships and positive guest recognition to build brand loyalty and sales.
  • Communicate with teammates regarding large parties, special requests, and large volumes of reservations to manage the over and under booking of tables.
  • Assist in coordinating with the bus and service teams to ensure timely and efficient clearing of tables and prompt guest service.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year working in restaurant industry
  • Some knowledge of POS Systems and Computer applications
  • Food Handler’s Certification Required

Shifts:

Monday - Friday lunch shifts (11:30am - 2:30pm)

Monday - Thursday dinner shifts (4:30pm - 9:45pm)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.87 per hour
