Host/Hostess

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team at Lombardi's on the Bay. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. You will manage reservations, greet guests upon arrival, and ensure they are seated in a timely manner. Your exceptional customer service skills will help create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages guests to return.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage reservations through OpenTable.
• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant.
• Answer phones and handle guest inquiries.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
• Close cash registers at the end of each shift

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.
• Experience in restaurant or food service environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with OpenTable and POS systems is a plus.
• Ability to handle guest relations with professionalism.
• Good phone etiquette for managing reservations and inquiries.
• Team player who can work collaboratively with staff.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Must be available to work on holidays.
