Host/Hostess

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Host/Hostess from 10:30-3:30 Monday-Friday to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest service and creating memorable dining experiences. As a Host/Hostess, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our guests feel welcomed, valued, and well taken care of from the moment they arrive until their departure.

Responsibilities

• Door awareness
• Open door and Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Manage waitlists efficiently to optimize seating arrangements.
• Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials, promotions, and menu items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for incoming guests.
• Responsible for maintaining the ongoing cleanliness of the entrance area and bathrooms throughout your shift. Other shift responsibilities include, but are not limited to rolling silverware, sweeping, cleaning doors and windows, taking out trash, dusting, restocking bathroom items needed such as towels, toilet paper, soap, etc.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality settings is not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Familiarity with iPad
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A friendly demeanor with a genuine desire to help others and enhance guest experiences.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
