Host/Hostess

*Job Overview*

We are seeking a friendly and organized part-time Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and providing exceptional customer service. This role is essential in creating a positive dining experience and maintaining the flow of the restaurant. This is a TIPPED position! We are looking for someone who has availability Thursday-Sunday (or more)

*Duties*

- Greet guests as they arrive, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere.

- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.

- Communicate effectively with guests to understand their needs and preferences.

- Assist guests with any inquiries or requests, ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.

- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.

- Utilize Toast POS & Toast Tables system for managing reservations and guest information.

*Qualifications*

- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.

- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Toast POS, is a plus.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

- A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential for success in this role.
